Reflection
NASPA was a learning and a growing experience - it usually is. What made this conference a bit more special was the amount of connection I made with my cohort and faculty throughout the days in New Orleans. I made it part of my goal to know the profesisonals in the field as well as get insight and contributions to add to my development. I attended workshops, receptions, as well as KC meetings that involves faculty and administrations from our school to better network around the campus. I believe I was able to do that by attending the CSUF reception during the conference. It was a great networking tool as well as a great bonding experience with my classmates. I take this experience of bonding and connection back to CSUF and plan to create more connections with faculty and peers in order to create a sense of belonging and togetherness. NASPA taught me that growing together will create a stronger unit and community of individuals.
